1. What got you interested in starting a wood flooring company? Share your story.
Since my childhood I have watched my father and grandfather create wonderful flooring and furniture out of wood. They were master craftsmen and I learnt all of my wood skills from them. I am passionate about using wood, either reclaimed or new wood, to enhance a home by bringing in the natural beauty of the outside and create a beautiful flooring which sets off the furniture and decor in an amazing fashion. I enjoy working with my clients to deliver the best service possible and create the flooring of their dreams.
2. What makes your business unique from other companies that offer flooring sales and service?
We use high quality wood, our team is hand picked and vigorously trained to deliver an efficient and reliable service. Our flooring is tailor made and individually designed to meet our clients full satisfaction.
3. How about you gone about using the internet to promote your business?
We have an established website which gives us a presence on the the Internet for those searching for a good reliable flooring company, but the majority of our clients come to us through word of mouth and recommendation from other satisfied clients.
4. What are some of the biggest challenges you face when it comes to satisfying customers with a new floor?
Maintaining client expectation for a reliable, first class service from the initial first discussion and quotation to the final installation of the requested flooring is a challenge we face daily but we are fortunate that we can and do meet and often exceed our clients’ expectations. Client satisfaction is our ultimate goal and we are always willing to go that extra mile to ensure our clients’ needs are met in full.
5. What are your future plans for 2015 and beyond?
2015 is an exciting year for our company. We have strong links with natural wood manufacturers and suppliers that will enable us to obtain beautiful flooring at very competitive prices that we can pass on to our valued clients.
The following years will see us expanding gradually by taking on young apprentices to train them in the wonderful skill of working with natural wood to create beautiful flooring, thereby passing down to future generations a craft that will provide environmentally friendly jobs and professions.
