1. What got you interested in joining LegalShield? Tell us a bit about the program
I had been a member of the program for 17 years prior to learning about and taking advantage of the business opportunity with our company. My first experience with my assigned law firm was for the purpose of reviewing the construction contract and mortgage documents for my first home. This one experience saved me $6000 in builder’s fluff fees which equates to roughly 20 years of my legal plan membership. We all know the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh. Over the course of the 17 years as a member I was able to save quite a bit of money on life events which would have ordinarily cost me thousands of dollars annually on attorney fees, but are covered through my affordable membership.
LegalShield gives members unlimited advice on any legal issues including Family Matters, Home, Financial, Estate Issues, Auto Violations/Accidents, and many more. Members are even able to get a Will prepared and updated annually all included in the membership, which alone saves me on average an additional $1,000 each year.
2. What are your overall thoughts on overcoming MLM objections from others?
Due to LegalShield providing a service and assigning members to top local law firms we have a clear advantage over many network marketing companies. However, I don’t focus on overcoming objections my focus is on my goal of sharing the services and opportunity with everyone I come into contact with on a daily basis. I know that the opportunity is not for everyone, but everyone can certainly benefit from the service. I function in the proactive versus reactive mindset – I sort through to find the ones who need the service and are looking to change their lifestyle through entrepreneurship of a proven company versus trying to convince anyone to take advantage of an opportunity in which they are not willing to put forth the belief, time commitment and energy.
3. How have you found most of your new recruits for LegalShield? What’s working for you?
Through my consistent efforts I earned the #2 Recruiter’s Trophy for the state of Florida my first year in the company. Roughly 90% of my team was recruited from the professional social network LinkedIn. LinkedIn has been a tremendous asset in building my business. I guess you can say it has worked for me.
4. Did you ever consider any other MLM programs? If so, what?
I have not consider any other Network Marketing programs and chances are I would not have considered LegalShield had I not held the membership for 17 years prior and knew firsthand the benefits of having the service. I was a tunnel vision professor and was not interested in any career or opportunity outside of the field of education, but I am very happy I was open that day. I was first convinced on the service then after learning the pay structure, leadership, bonuses, free trips, and free cars for sharing the service I was sold on the company altogether.
5. What are your future plans for 2015 and beyond?
My future plans for 2015 and beyond are to continue recruiting and training as many people as possible how to live life on their terms and work with corporations. Whether individuals are interested in an extra $1,000 a month or a 6-figure residual income with our company we have the training to accommodate anyone’s financial goals.
Now that my first year is under my belt and I have built a team I plan to work more with companies and corporations utilizing my Voluntary Benefit Provider Certification to show companies how to save money using our products and services.
I am so excited to see what this year has in store for our team.
